The VMS Health Office operates with the goal of maximizing students' educational time while treating minor ailments, symptoms, and/or injuries. When possible, students are returned to class after an assessment and interventions with minimal out-of-class time. If the student is unable to remain in school following district guidelines, a call will be made to the parent/guardian by a Health Office staff member. If the illness or injury is serious/life-threatening an ambulance will be called and the student will be transported to the hospital by EMS. Please make sure your student's Emergency Contacts are current with the front office and they are accessible for student pickup if needed.
